Data controller

The controller of your data is Damien Geenen. For any question about your data, write to [email protected].

Data collected

Account

Your email address, the only identifying data requested. No password is stored: sign-in uses a single-use link.

Trip

Destination, dates, length, number of travellers, nationality, interests and the free text where you describe what you want. This is used to compose your book and nothing else.

Payment

Handled entirely by Stripe. We receive neither your card number, nor its expiry date, nor its security code.

Technical

Our host's logs, kept for the security of the service.

Why we process it

• To perform the contract: producing and delivering the book you ordered.
• To meet our accounting and tax obligations for invoices.
• To keep the service secure, on the basis of our legitimate interest.

How long we keep it

Your account and your books are kept as long as you keep them, and deleted on request. Accounting records are kept for ten years, as the law requires. Technical logs are erased after twelve months.

We use the following providers, each for the stated purpose only. Those outside the European Union process data under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the following rights at any time:

• access your data and obtain a copy of it;
• have it corrected if it is inaccurate;
• have it erased, along with your account;
• object to a processing operation or ask for it to be restricted.

To exercise them, write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookie. Traffic is measured with Umami, without cookies and without data that identifies you (pages viewed, country, device type, referring link). The only cookies used are strictly necessary: the one that keeps you signed in, and those Stripe sets on its own payment page. They do not require your prior consent.
