Terms of sale
Updated 3 October 2026
Scope
These terms govern the sale of digital travel books by Damien Geenen to any adult acting for non-professional purposes. Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of them.
What you are buying
The product is a digital travel book, composed from the answers you give in the questionnaire. It is delivered in two forms, both included in the same price: a PDF document to print, and a version to read on your phone from your "My trips" area. It contains:
- a day-by-day plan, with indicative timings and travel times;
- the addresses of the places suggested, each verified individually before it appears, with the date of that check;
- an address list to carry with you, the country's useful numbers and the credits of the photographs used.
Prices
Prices are in euros, all taxes included. They depend on the length of the trip:
- Trip of 1 to 6 days · 9,90 €
- Trip of 7 to 14 days · 19,90 €
- Trip of 15 to 30 days · 29,90 €
The price that applies is the one shown at the time of the order. No subscription, no recurring charge: each book is a one-off purchase.
Ordering and payment
Orders are placed online, after creating an account through a link sent to your email address. Payment is handled by Stripe; we neither receive nor store your card details. An order is final only once payment is confirmed.
Delivery
Your book is produced as soon as payment is confirmed and made available in your “My trips” area, usually within a few minutes. If production fails, you are refunded in full without having to ask.
Right of withdrawal
You normally have fourteen days to withdraw from an online purchase. That right does not apply to digital content supplied immediately, provided you expressly requested that immediate supply and acknowledged losing your right of withdrawal (article L221-28 13° of the French consumer code).
That is what the checkbox before payment means: by ticking it you request immediate production of your book and waive your right of withdrawal once it has been delivered. Until it is ticked, no payment is possible.
This waiver takes away no other remedy: if the book delivered does not match what is described here, write to us and we will correct it or refund you.
Warranties and complaints
Statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects apply. We check every place before putting it in a book, but a venue may close or change its hours after that check: the date of verification is shown for each address. Complaints can be sent by email; we reply within five working days.
Liability
The book is a preparation document, not a booking or a travel contract. It includes no transport, accommodation or insurance, and commits none of the venues mentioned. It is your responsibility to check entry formalities, the validity of your documents and local conditions before you travel.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. In accordance with the provisions of the French consumer code on “the consumer dispute mediation process”, after first contacting us and failing a satisfactory answer, you may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediation procedure with: CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France.
